Pair of Ducks is a small creative studio run by humans (not ducks, unfortunately). When you visit our website, contact us, or work with us as a client, some data is collected in the normal course of doing business. This policy explains what that data is, how it’s used, and what control you have over it.
As a general company practice, we collect the minimum amount of data needed to do good work, communicate clearly, and keep our digital lights on. How We Collect + Use Data
Website Platform
Our website runs on WordPress and uses the Divi theme and builder. When you visit our site, the following data may be collected as part of essential website functions:
- IP address
- Browser and device information
- Pages visited and referring URLs
- General usage data needed for site functionality and security
This data is used by WordPress and Divi to make sure our site works properly, to maintain security and performance, and to understand (at a high level) how people use our site

Contact Forms
When you submit a note via the Contact Us page on our site, we collect the information you intentionally send us, which may include your name, email address, phone number, and message content. In addition, your IP address and a submission timestamp are shared on your behalf.
We use this information to respond to your inquiry and to communicate with you about potential or ongoing work.
Form submissions may be stored securely in our WordPress database and sent to us via email notification.
We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.
Email Marketing
If you sign up for our Dirty Dilly™ newsletters, submit your email address to download something, or opt into updates via clearly labeled checkboxes, we use Klaviyo to manage email (and possibly SMS) communications.
Information that may be collected and/or tracked includes: name, email address, phone number (if you opt into SMS), IP address, email engagement data (opens, clicks), and website behavior via cookies (pages viewed, forms submitted).
This data is used to:
- Send newsletters, updates, and marketing emails in accordance with your requests and supplied preferences
- Personalize content and avoid spamming you with irrelevant stuff.

You can unsubscribe using the link in the footer of every marketing email you recieve from us, and you’re welcome to resubscribe at anytime, too.
Client Management, Contracts + Payments
When you become a client, we use HoneyBook to manage proposals, contracts, invoices, and communication.
Data collected may include:
- Name and contact information
- Business name
- Signed contracts and proposals
- Invoices and payment status
- Project-related communication
This information is collected and stored to help us provide a personalized experience and maintain client relationships, send contracts and invoices, process payments, communicate about your project during the time that we work together.
Payments
Payment information is processed securely by HoneyBook’s third-party payment processors (such as Stripe). We do not store nor have access to your full credit card information ourselves.

How Long We Keep Your Data
Contact form submissions: kept as long as needed to respond and follow up. We do a routine delete about once a month.
Email subscribers: kept until you unsubscribe and our email software does its thing.
Client records: kept as long as necessary for business, legal, or tax purposes.
If you want your data removed sooner, just ask.
Where Your Data Is Sent
Data may be processed and stored by third-party services we use (listed above and throughout this policy). Some of these services may store data outside your country of residence, in accordance with their privacy and security practices.
Your Data Rights
As a website visitor, client, or subscriber, you have the right to:
